"Aurora Borealis"

Characteristic traps from May to September.

Full sun compulsory.

No fertilizer whatsoever.

Only 30% of the cuttings maintain the traits of aurora borealis. The rest loses the white part, and instead gains a reddish color, thus losing all interest in a collection. One can wonder about the stability of the cultivar.

It seems that there are 2 plants on the market: one with white traps, and another that tends to pink, once the trap ages.

Base of leaf somewhat narrower than Dionaea muscipula Soland. ex Ellis, the plant shares its features in every way, with the obvious exception of the trap, which whitens inside and outside the lobes of the traps, always bordered by more or less intense green, forming like a window . The teeth, on the other hand, will remain white.
